Digitising a lifetime, with care
Valediction gently gathers a loved one's documents and photographs, turns them into a private, searchable archive, returns the keepsakes that matter — and securely destroys the rest. You keep the memories, not the mountain.
A gentle, four-step process
No rush, no pressure, and nothing destroyed without your say-so. You stay in control at every step.
We come to you and carefully box up the paperwork and photos — from a single drawer to a whole house — logging everything as we go.
A real person reviews it all. Wills, deeds, certificates and treasured keepsakes are set aside and never destroyed.
Documents and photographs are scanned and organised into a private, searchable archive, delivered securely to you.
Your keepsakes and legal originals come back to you. Only the confirmed, sensitive junk paper is securely shredded.

The two things that matter most
Original wills, property deeds, share and savings certificates, premium-bond documents and every sentimental keepsake are set aside during triage and returned to you. Nothing is destroyed until you've seen the list and given your written go-ahead.
Identity theft in a deceased person's name — "ghosting" — is a real and growing risk when sensitive papers are thrown out carelessly. Everything we destroy is shredded to a certified standard, with a certificate of destruction for your records.
For funeral directors, solicitors & will-writers
We work alongside the professionals families already trust, handling the physical paperwork and photographs that estate administration doesn't. Warm handover, referral terms available.
Questions families ask
Never. Everything is reviewed by a person, and we give you a clear list of what we recommend keeping versus shredding. Nothing is destroyed until you've approved it in writing.
They come back to you. We digitise them so you have safe copies, but the originals — photographs, letters, medals, certificates — are always returned.
We handle everything to GDPR standards with a documented chain of custody, store papers securely while in our care, deliver your archive encrypted, and shred to a certified destruction standard.
As a private, searchable set of files on an encrypted drive and a secure download link — organised so you can actually find things.
We're starting locally and growing by referral. Get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you yet.
We're here when you're ready
